At INTURN, we are committed to delivering the best possible user experience while ensuring that all client data is secure and private.
As such, we will no longer be supporting Internet Explorer 11 as of March 31, 2020.
Why Is INTURN Discontinuing Support for IE11?
In 2015, Microsoft released the Edge browser as a replacement for Internet Explorer (IE). Because of this, Internet Explorer no longer receives major updates adding the latest security and functionality that supports complex platforms like INTURN.
INTURN strives to deliver products that meet our customers’ needs. The increasing gap between Internet Explorer 11 and all other browsers has meant that we needed to expend considerable effort to avoid and fix defects that only appear in that browser. It limits our technology choices and dampens our ability to deliver the reliability and functionality our customers expect.
Because only 1-2% of INTURN customers use IE11 to access the platform, we are removing support to concentrate our efforts on the latest browsers with the latest functionality, such as Google Chrome (which 95% of our customers use today) to benefit as many customers as possible.
What does this mean for you?
If you continue using IE11, you may experience difficulties viewing and interacting with the platform, and in some cases, you may not be able to load the INTURN platform at all.
We strongly encourage switching to Google Chrome to ensure a seamless experience on the INTURN platform. Safari and Firefox are also supported, and if you are required to use a Microsoft browser, we recommend using Microsoft Edge.
Depending on your company policy, you may need to inform your IT team of the new browser requirements so that they can assist with the transition.
