Job Summary 

INTURN is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Business Development Representative to join our rapidly growing Sales team. 

We are changing how world-class businesses transact, engage, and sell their products, achieving zero waste and making the world a greener place! With some of the world’s biggest fashion clients onboard, we’re looking to expand into several new verticals such as manufacturing, CPG, in addition to apparel. Our Sales Development team serves as the front-line in our customer engagement efforts, contacting professionals and influences with the goal of generating qualified opportunities for our sales team. This role reports into our Director of Sales Operations, which helps to ensure that Business Development Representatives are contacting the right people, at the right time, with the right message – ultimately giving our sales team more qualified opportunities to win business.

Responsibilities

  • Research dedicated account lists to build pipeline with an emphasis on Enterprise ABM
  • Research prospects and identify stakeholders to generate interest and create rapport
  • Prospect and identify target accounts to contact via cold calling and email outreach into our ideal client profile
  • Manage expectations and overcome objections
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using Salesforce and Salesloft
  • Execute a proven sales process to achieve activity quotas and revenue goals
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators including calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals won from your meetings
  • Provide insight into key trends on the field, developing and sharing best practices with the Sales team
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion into a full, closing role

Key Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of SaaS Sales experience
  • BA/BS required, advanced degree is a plus
  • Sales-focused, strategic thinking with a bias towards action
  • Familiar with MEDDICC or other prominent sales methodologies 
  • Strong storytelling skills, ability to synthesis results, key messages and pain points 
  • Exceptional listening and relationship building skills across cross-functional teams and up to C-level executives 
  • Familiarity with Channel/Indirect-selling with experience selling alongside SAP preferred, but not required.
  • Quantitative track record of exceptional performance and a strong professional trajectory
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesloft (or similar tools) strongly preferred
  • Has a competitive spirit, coachable, and results driven
  • Articulate, confident, and the ability to think on the fly when speaking with a potential customer
  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to develop business in new and existing accounts
  • Resilient, doesn’t take “no” for an answer
  • Effective communication skills with ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment
  • Highly motivated to build a career at INTURN
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
