Job summary:

At INTURN, we manage the brokerage of millions of dollars of merchandise and complexities of a rapidly growing business. Collaborate with our incredible design team and engineers to be a part of iterative development. You have the opportunity to work on a product that is solving a real-world problem that brands and retailers will use every day. INTURN is looking for a DevOps Engineer who will focus on Availability, Automation, Scaling, Performance and Security. Designing, building, and managing the infrastructure on AWS. Creating and maintaining configurations and deployments. Creating the tools to automate and scale our infrastructure. Maintain stability and uptime through redundancy and self-healing.

Technologies we use: 

AWS: EC2, RDS (Postgres), Lambda, ELB V1 and V2, Cloudformation, Elastic Cache (Redis),  Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, IAM

Platform: Javascript (Node.js), Go, PHP, Laravel, React, Serverless Framework, New Relic, Sentry, Java

Infrastructure: CircleCI, rundeck, Cloudformation, GO, Python, Bash, Ansible JSON YAML Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudwatch, Pager Duty, Packer, Consul, Nomad, Docker, Ubuntu, AppArmor

Key Qualifications

  • Excellent experience with Linux Internals
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
  • Good understanding of AWS technologies and how to leverage and support them
  • Good in at least of one or more of the following languages PHP/Python/Go/Bash
  • Experience with Hashicorp Stack, specifically Consul and terraform. Bonus point if experience with Nomad
  • Excellent understanding of AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with transitioning monolithic architecture to microservice architecture
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes (Optional)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
