Job Description

This is a Pre-Sales role that supports Sales Directors in the field by having a deep technical understanding of the INTURN Platform as well as the client-side business challenges. The candidate will be responsible for collecting data during workshops, completing assessments of client requirements, and partnering with the Sales Director to deliver value driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Run workshops and assessments analyzing our prospects business operations and present Impact and ROI of using the INTURN Platform
  • Establish trust with clients and influence key decision makers in the sales cycle
  • Build and coordinate Statement of Works for a path to production and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively
  • Assist the sales team in closing deals by being the off-price process expert in the room; ~50% travel
  • Partner internally with Client Operations, Client Success and Product teams to communicate client needs, requests, or blockers
  • Stay informed on developments in the retail industry and educate team members on potential impacts to business/revenue in weekly team meetings
  • Represent INTURN at industry events, conferences and trade shows
  • Actively participate in internal weekly team meetings, quarterly reviews, annual kickoffs and sales training

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of retail and/or inventory management experience
  • Pre-Sales enterprise software experience (preferably SaaS)
  • Ability to understand nuanced technical concepts and apply them to a client’s business needs
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business (internal or client) and technical teams
  • Fluency developing new processes or optimizing existing processes to drive greater client efficiencies
  • Strong desire to use creative thinking and a consultative touch to address a client’s issue (verses a desire to ‘close the deal’)
  • Familiarity building actual process flows for internal and client discussions
  • A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact for customers
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication and presentation skills
