Client Implementations Manager

This is a business-technical role that sits on the Client Operations team, which manages client implementations/onboardings, ongoing client change requests, and issue resolution related to client platform setup. This role is the central hub between the Business Development, Client Services, and Engineering teams. The Client Implementation Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of launching new brands on the INTURN platform through manual configurations, API integrations, or working with system integrators. This is a client-facing role that combines collaboration, data analysis, strategy, platform expertise, and project management to set clients up for success.


  • Execute client platform onboarding plans based upon INTURN's launch and implementation strategy
  • Act as subject matter expert on INTURN's platform capabilities. Maintain strong knowledge of products and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the product roadmap.
  • Lead major meetings for clients to understand operational/process gaps within their off-price business; advise on using INTURN features accordingly
  • Assist and/or own all data & image mapping processes
  • Project manage & facilitate client implementations related to direct API integrations into a client's inventory management systems.
  • Experience working with system integrators to implement integrations preferred.
  • Create all client statements of work and ensure cross-functional alignment on data mapping & configuration strategy
  • Collaborate with the Product team to scope & build new features for clients
  • Collaborate with QA/Engineering team to work on client deliverables and platform bug resolution
  • Manage implementation timelines for new clients; Be able to quickly report current project status at any time in detail (high level of organization and attention to detail)
  • Participate & lead special projects as assigned to continuously improve processes, tools, systems, and organization
  • Lead training meetings with clients during the implementation phase and create training materials
  • Systematically track client feedback and share with Client Success, Sales, and Product teams
  • Project manage & facilitate client implementations related to direct API integrations into a client's inventory management systems.

Key Qualifications

  • BA/BS is required; an Advanced degree is a plus
  • 4-6 years of experience at a product company, with 2-3 years minimum being client-facing
  • Intermediate/Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience in retail or off-price preferred but not required
  • Experience using ERP/inventory management systems preferred but not required
  • Experience using JIRA, Looker, and a project management tool
  • Quick learner who is comfortable diving into & becoming an expert in new systems
  • Act as a solution architect helping the clients to implement new capabilities
  • A clear and concise communicator who can translate client pain points/requests into language that Product & Engineering can understand
  • Willingness to learn beginner coding in either SQL or GO (prior basic knowledge a plus)
  • Deadline-driven, proactive mentality & bias for action
  • A solution-oriented person that likes to work on creating vision while being able to work through the tactics to execute a plan
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making timely decisions without necessarily having all of the answers
  • High analytical/logical ability; you may not know how to create Macros in Excel, but you're confident that you could learn quickly
